Matthew is Chief Investment Officer and portfolio manager of all Lancaster’s European funds. He founded Lancaster with James Roycroft in 2007. Prior to this, Matthew was co-Head of Europe and a Senior Portfolio Manager at Magnetar Capital. He has been investing in European equity portfolios since 1997. Matthew began his investment career at UBS Philips and Drew, and has also previously worked at Deephaven Capital and Lansdowne Partners. He graduated from Cambridge University with a double First in History and is a CFA Charterholder.
